Dead Space

Figured that I'd start a thread on the awesome game that is Dead Space.

A game this great only comes along once in a good while. I can't think of any reason why Dead Space shouldn't be considered "Game of the Year" or something to that affect.

Feel free to state opinions and such here as always.

I'm going to get it. I've seen some playthrough videos at youtube and the game looks incredible! Pretty scary too.

Yeah, the game is pretty freaky... Almost playing John Carpenter's The Thing almost, with just a touch of Alien added in for good measure...

Chaostheoryab, you can rest easy, the animated movie is on Standard Def. DVD, and it really wasn't all too bad. The animation budget obviously wasn't too high, but it makes a good precursor to the game.

I must say though, that this game will make you look at the song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" in a whole new light...

It defintly is a good game. I enjoy it because it(And Left 4 Dead) is holding me over til Resident Evil 5.

It has simple controls and plays smoothly. The only problem with it is its too short, at least to what I wanted.

But everything about it is amazing.
