Would you ever go back to your world?

I was just thinking to myself and came up with this question. If you fell into a time portal and you were sent into a medieval or Greek fantasy world that monsters like dragons, hydra, orc and minotaur are real and lets say you save a kingdom from being destroyed. Would you guys ever want to go back home to your world and its a one way ticket and you will never see the fantasy world ever again.

Me the only reason I would ever go back home is for a Carl's Junior and maybe check on my family that all. But if it was just a one way ticket and I could never go back to the fantasy world I think I would stay because I saved a kingdom there I'm somebody back in my world I'm just a no body.

You said dragons, hydras, orcs and minotaurs would be real in this fantasy world? Really, these creatures are capable of killing you in an instant. Unless I receive some sort of Dragonball Z like Super Saiyan strength when I travel through the portal, I see no reason in staying in a place like that.

Be eaten alive by a dragon or go back home to my world..... yeah.... my world sounds good.

I would stay since I would be the hero in that world while in this world if you want to do anything heroic you have a 99% chance to get yourself jailed,fined or shot by some pig. Fantasy land I get to play the roll of kick ass knight come on everyone wants to be a freaking knight. If the monsters come back you have a army take care of it pulse YOUR the HERO. Give me ten years in a world like this I could have change it to at least to the renaissance age or myself burned at the stake.

I wouldnt say that since its very much alive with me... not sure about anyone else though -_-

Even though those times are highly romanticized im sure that they had some of the problems we have today, but i would still stay there, theres this attraction to a simpler time where honor meant something, where rescuing a damsel in distress almost meant falling in love and living happily ever after, and killing wasnt as easy as pulling a trigger.

The only things that would make me think twice about returning to our own time would be:

1- toilets

2- showers

3- family

If that world would include a loved one that would stay with me till the end of all time. I’d never leave! I guess it would look kinda like D&D. And I love being a Favored Soul/Paladin of a Deity. I could even try to become God myself (Like in Baldur’s Gate II).

Wow, that is a pretty deep question. I would probably enjoy doing all the things a fictional character would do in a dream world, but I would absolutely miss having a mundane life using technology to help me live. Yeah...I'm lazy haha

Im with Anthony gamer on this one, if this were a fantasy world where you could train yourself to capabilities that defy the laws of physics and delve in magic and the like, I would certainly just stay in the fantasy world.
