When did hentai start? What was the first official hentai movie etc.?

Well, way back in the Edo they used to do woodblock prints of hentai. There were even some tentacle prints (but it was with an octopus, none of this crazy alien stuff we have now :P lol)

The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife by Katsushika Hokusai this was one of the first hentai tentacle sex that came out in the 1800 of course it was a woodcut out artwork then an Australian artist David Laity reworked it and put it on paint drawing.

Well if you want to know the history of hentai a little you could go to en.wikipedia and type in hentai but sorry I couldn't really find how hentai came about.
