It's been awhile since I've hung around a forum (this one has more reason to be a repeat customer, heh), and here seems as good a place as any to get some critique/feedback on something I wrote recently (because I can't draw to save my life.)

... In, out... In through the nose, out through the mouth
... In, out... Slow it down when in doubt.

Slow and steady wins the race,
____________ (or so they say)

My sacred quiet place,
____________ (my reward at the end of the day)

The muscles go slack, the mind can relax;
The world fades away as my eyes roll back

People, places, things disappear;
No objects, emotions, no doubts and no fears -
A singular place - a blank slate becomes clear.

Flesh and blood, skin and bones - pieces great and small
Planets, stars and galaxies - pieces - one and all
Molecules and particles, pieces old and pieces new
Each piece shared - one day it's me, the next it's you

Immortality's reality - not one piece is destroyed
A vacuum space may be, but life breaks through the void
... In, out... Don't trust what you see with your eyes
... In, out... There IS no world outside.

I like how you (perhaps unknowingly?) slipped in a reference to the partical theory.

Well, lately I've been reading books by the Dalai Lama and Deepak Chopra, and they both frequently discuss quantum physics and the like, so those kinds of matters were on my mind when writing.

Well I've been reading Deepak Chopra and the Dalai Lama lately, and they often bring up and discuss matters of quantum physics, so that kind of thing was one my mind at the time of writing.
