Hey guys,
I have looked through linux a bit and sadly I have found so many versions that I couldn't hope to make an educated guess as to which one would be most ideal. I as many have heard lots of good things about ubuntu and a few others but I don't really understand whats the significance about it. I have read a little about setting up a live disk or running it from a usb drive which sounds great to me. I simply cannot figure out how to do it though, I have downloaded ubuntu 8.04 but I doubt I just toss it onto a cd or dvd or usb drive and reboot. Thanks!
