Before I hit the sack, I thought I would bring this up... What sort of recreational drugs have you indulged in your past and/or present? I don't need to know the specific time period in which you did so and I know this is a personal question to which some may not want to answer.

Personally, during my time in undergrad I experimented with marijuana and took shrooms on a couple of occassions. Note: By no means do I endorse usage of such drugs, but I thought it would be an interesting question to pose to everyone.

Also, I do drink on occassion when I go out with my girlfriend and friends to bars (no, I don't go "clubbing," that scene is whack if you ask me).

I have tried marijuana but I don't think you can pass middle school without doing so! I have tried speed but wasn't all that great. Dont do any of that now.

However, I will say about one of the drugs which I used that I absolutely condone doing is shrooms. I took it twice, and each time you digest shrooms (which, by the way, grows on cow crap), you ingest numerous toxins and there is always the possibility that it will be your last "trip" because its potential lethality. I'm still young now, but I would have to say that I was young and dumb when I decided to jeopardize my life by taking shrooms.

Plus, it tastes like shit so I had to chop it up, place it on funneled piece of paper, gulp it down real fast, and chug a whole can of soda! lol

I've not touched drugs but I drink socially, mostly beer though. However, when I came back from a trip to Prague last year I brought home some old-fashioned Absinthe. It's 80% and apparently has traces of wormwood in it. It tastes like aniseed and death.

sorry marijawana is not a drug...its a natural coming substaince yes if over used its bad for you but in small amounts it does not harm the brain it just calms you down in are past it was the leading stress reducer the government doesn't aprove of it becuase its a plant that can be home grown and their afraid of not having tax rights. even some of are greatest minds have smoked but in the end they were also smart enough not to BAKE THEIR BRAINS O_O!!! i belive its ok to smoke like once or twice a week to unravle nerves and calm one self down now adays reason its not as effective in the stress area is becuase its considered illiage so stress is in the place of getting caught not only that but to the teenage public who go into their i don't need to listen to anyone faze they see it as a way to exspress themselves and end up abusing it. all other drugs thought are harmful in all amounts in fact alcohol is one becuase it can induse stress... i would know i was an alcoholic as a kid. 2)it plays a part in the cemical balance and the way your body distributes and uses fat cells(basicly it is a leading assistant in obeasidy)
3)it can use that same effect with your brain to incorrectly distribute proteins in the body making it so your body will not fuction correctly and have musle spasiums
4)Stress also Blocks off your adrenilin making it so you become tired and less motivated easyer.
5)Stress also has shown signs of late in pregnant women and their childrens brains before they are born. the pain can not be avoded but some times life issues can make them nervus and well later down the line can damaged the babys health.
6)it slows the responce and sence of white blood cells that play the part of your immune system. those that give up due to stress have a low will to live and their body doesn't do enough to support it.

I'm not guna blame it all on the almighty stress in the end we are incontrol of how we feel but their are those that are not knowlagable enough to know better once your get into stress you start douting yourself and the possibiltys around you.

The only thing i take is sertraline HCI it's a serotonin inhibitor that controls my panic attacks and general anxiety. It's doctor prescribed and it's the only thing i take. never did any "recreational" drugs,don't smoke or drink. Not because i think i'm too cool or above it all,just never had an interest in doing them.

Never really got to high from it though, the only side effect i got was that it was hard to control myself from laughing once, then after a few minutes(5 to 10 I believe), I was able to control myself fully. I'm actually with some of the people here. No drugs and hardly ever drink. I end up being DD for my friends, which is fine by me, because then I know that they get home safe and without getting a DUI.
