Anyways, I like rabbits the most. From my experience, as I own a broken satin rabbit who looks like a bandit with a black circles around the eyes, they can be like dogs minus the barking if you get them when they are very young and tame them :-).

In terms of anime animals, I have a crazy sort of weakness for cabbits x.x I'm sorry, they designed the species to be utterly cute and they did a decent job.

For real animals... something soft, fuzzy and affectionate would be amazing. Possibly a large cat of some sort.

This is a tough one, because I've always prefered the company of animals over humans...
Perigrin Falcon is my favorite avian because of its mythological association in Ancient Egypt; no wait it's a tie, because I like Ibises for the same reason... Foxes because of their intelligence... Black Panthers because one can exist within a group of normal panthers (I like the fact that it's different I guess...) The extinct desert lions of Egypt because there was no greater predator (other than humans, but we cheat.)
I need a mythological one now... well I dunno their names, but these critters with the long necks are pretty cool... and no they aren't giraffes!:01:

My favorite animal is the Cheetah. It is the fastest land mammal in the world, and it is a cat, but it can't purr. :3

Of the reptiles, I prefer iguanas, because I used to have one for a pet. They're dreadfully cool lizards. :p I also like other herps, though, like snakes, turtles, other lizards, and amphibians like frogs and salamanders.

Of birds, I think the coolest is the Raven. Smartest birds in the world, those little buggers. :p

Insect-wise, I like preying mantises. We get a lot of them where I live, and they look so darn cool.

But definitely, overall, it's the cheetah. ;)

My favorite animal would have to be a....uhhhh.....in all honesty i like all types of animals and can't really decide on one. if held at gunpoint however, i'd have to say my favorite animal is a cheetah, with it's slender body and sickening speed.
