Well in 8 days I'll be getting my gall bladder removed and I can't wait to do that. My wife and I are scared about this because I never had this kind of operation before. I hope that this problem will go away.

I had mine out several years ago...I had 1 stone the size of the duct....the Dr. even saved it for me but alas, I somehow lost it.

I had the laproscopic (spelled ?) 6 small incisions, only threw up 1 time after the surgery, lots of good pain medication slept off and on for 3 days....hahahhah

Good luck to you

Yep I would wonder through the house half the night with an attack.

They put me in the Hospital the day they found it...I barely got home and the phone rang for me to go and check in.....kept me for 2 days after it was out.

I am sorry that it took me this long to let you all know. Well I am fine and my Gall Bladder was removed and I had 2 1/4 inch gall stones in it. I could not sleep with my wife for 2 weeks after it, because just in case she bumped in to me while next to her. I had it removed laproscopically, right through my belly button well over it actually.

xP Well in my case: I had 3 incisions. I didn't throw up and I didn't sleep at all. I didn't need to many pain killers even thought they removed quite a lot. I had about 24 gallstones or w/e they call them. I've been threw worse pains. I didn't care really.

There are much "much" more worse surgeries I've endured. If you wanna find out just have your throat slit in 2 places and then stich it back together.

I had 4 incisions. 1 over my belly button where they removed it, 1 just under my left chest, and 2 small ones must be where they inserted the cutting tool.

Get a better doctor? The other two of mine (except for the one on my belly button) are: 2 - under my ribcage, 3 - on my right side

Aaahh that operation really sucks, lol.
I remember when i got my gall bladder removed the doctored was like "worry if it stops hurting, it means it poped", 15 mins later it stoped hurting XD, but thank god it wasnt because it poped.
