Question: In your opinion, what is the average "lifespan" a member in terms of their duration of involvement from the time they register to the time that they become nonexistent in terms of board presence. I know there is over 20,000 members, but I know there are staples and then there are those who are around for a very short time (though I haven't been a member long myself so who am I to say ;-))

The average lifespan of many members is close to zero posts. Many people sign up and expect free porn and service, but when they realize that they have to participate, they disappear forever.

For many more members, they average amount of posts they submit is close to 30 (or 10 before), and then they drop out of active status, only lurking.

Then there are some people who are potentially good members, but some circumstance forces them to leave the board. White is a good example, she was a valuable member, but she decided to leave. I still hope she drops by from time to time.

Finally, there are the truly active members, who participate and consider this board their online home. Unfortunately, there are probably less than a hundred of these people. For the good of the board, I wish more people would become like this.

Our numbers are slowly growing, though I'm slow in my contributions, I am doing my best, also sent a few people that enjoy these arts an invite, so hopefully they'll come and enjoy the crowd.

I really hope the day will come when all the members will come to appreciate this board as a community, rather than just a source of free porn.

Hehe. I'm just talkative. ^_~

Anyway, to answer your question, I believe I was looking for a particular manga series when I stumbled on this site. I liked the people here, so I decided to join and participate.
