The Mist Movie

I am wondering has anyone here seen the movie called The Mist starring Tom Jane?

Is that the Stephen king Movie?......I havent seen it if thats the one but I have heard it was awesome

i saw it. It was okay, but theirs this religious element to the movie that just seem like it was phoned in. Id give it a 6/10.

I think its a great movie, the movie makes you wonder who to fear more, the unknown or your fellow man. I feel the religious element is put in there to point out humanity's need for understanding and hope even when reality is thrown out the window. It is also oe of teh few movies that I think reading the book compliments the whole story rather than one being better than the other.

I've seen the movie and actually have to say that it is probably the best Stephen King story turned into a film.

The social commentaries made through the movie really do make you reflect on aspects of our society and how with all advancements that we've made through time, we still very much are a primative species.

I will say also that for the classic horror fans out there, the black and white version of the film is the one to watch. Makes everything seem that much more creepy when it has no color to it.

Naturally of course, the ending is also one of the best in horror movie history in my opinion and simply leaves you with your jaw gapping wide open.

That is one of the larger creatures that is born of the mist. We don't really know if it is violent or not, as it is simply seen walking around, but it is indeed very very very big. The characters who see it, seem like ants by comparison to it's overall size.

When I seen it on film my jaw dropped. It caused small localized quakes as it walked.

Yeah, that sucker was definately something to behold. I think it was mostly implemented in the story as a means of telling the main characters that they are probably, for lack of a better term, screwed with a capital F if you catch my drift.

If you pay attention during that scene, you can see the bird creatures from before actually nesting on the thing.

I saw it and I liked it alot but the endind gives you a WTF kind of feeling.but then again its King so I should have expected it.

It looks tentacley enough to be a spawn of Cthulghu, or even Shub-Niggurath.

When the religious lady had died most of the people in theater i was in shouted "go to your god!" overall it was a good movie but i had not liked the ending i mean shouldnt they of seen flamethrowers burning trees and the sound of army jeep engines?

The Mist was badass probably one of the better horror movies out there. And all those fucking wierd ass monsters scared th shit out of me. Really liked the ending depressing but was an unexpected twist. ADVISED TO WACTH

loved the ending...

if anyones interested check out 'storm of the century' it was a stephen king miniseries.. you can get it for like 5 bucks on dvd... its VERY similair to the mist

I sort of expected that to happen at the end. And i know this makes me sound like a cold-hearted bastard but i couldnt help but laugh at it.
