Elfen Lied is one of my favourite animes, hands down. The english dubs are terrible, though. No surprise, really.

Elfenlied is really good. That's definite.
It's maybe not the best, but one of the best. :wink:

Well, I'll definitely give Elven Lied credit for shocking me when I had thought I was already completely desensitized to violence. A couple scenes are still very prominent in my memory, three years after watching it.

The scenes didn't really affect me that much. Personally I don't find it shocking at all. Maybe I am way too desensitized.

yeah elfenlied is great and the name of it is german^^yeeesss^^
its my first real anime after i saw this i jst hate dragon ball naruto and one piece
in 13 episodes they tell a mega cool and sad story
naruto DB an OP can't do that in 1000 episodes
but elfenlied is not the best anime
its one of the best
but Ergo Proxy and Death note are better
