I thought I would make a thread for people to discuss the anime series that they have recently watched, are watching, or are interested in watching in the future.

If a particular anime series is popular, then it may be a good idea to start a separate thread for its discussion. That way, people may find others who like the same anime. You never know who may share your interests.

I forgot to put Rozen Maiden on my list of anime to watch. It was recommended by my friend, but I was following the Haruhi series at the time. Thanks for reminding me, Iia.

So what did you think of the Lucky Star series? Did you get most of the references?

HI everyone long time no see I was just passing by and I saw this.

Well I got a few series I'm trying to watch Kanokon right now. After that the new season to Genshiken 2 I got the first two DVD's of Kujibiki Unbalance the new one it pretty interesting. (no one was hosting the series so I bought it) I'm also watching the 3 season of ikkitousen The Tower of Druaga caught my interest I'm going to watch that so I' m jumping around all over the places.

Blade the immortal, Zero no Tuskaima and Sekirei are in production now I saw the promo video on youtube. But I found out that Zero no Tuskaima is staring on the 6th of July and Sekirei starts on the 2 of July I'm looking forward to those. Haruhi, Higurashi and Blade I have no idea when they will air I think Haruhi and Higurashi may air around Fall or winter hopefully not next spring. Blade I hope around mid July it would air I hear some rumors that Lucky star is getting an OVA. Well Hope this info could help anyone who's wandering what is coming and here a promo picture cover of the new season of Haruhi that i found.

Sadly, Ive been out of the loop on anime/manga as of late.

The last new series I had watched was DeathNote when the subs were released on the internet, about a year or so ago.

I have been watching Cowboy Bebop, Trigun and the occasional Excel Saga.

Though, I do need to get back into watching new shows...

I recently finished watching the Rozen Maiden series, both seasons and the two OVA.

I really liked it. The characters were very cute, and each possessed a deeper side in addition to their normal personalities. The end of the series left a lot of questions to be answered, though.

I'm glad you like it the only thing I hate is that one is going to pick up a season 3. The reason why is that I heard that the artiest and the story writer both quite for some reason and that just really sucks I wanted to see the end. I want to know if Shinku become Alice's does Suigintou get a full body does Souseiseki and Hinaichigo ever come back these are question that are still hanging around I guess I'll never find out.

On another note this a little interesting I check out the Rozen maiden manga a bit and I found out something interesting about Jun in the show he quite school because he was too smart and everyone talk crap about him but in the manga he had a secret that he did want anyone to find out and it was making dress he like making dress. when everyone at his school found out his classmate made fun of him and he quite school this explains to me why was he good at sewing this was a little interesting to me.

I read about that as well.

I also wish we could have seen more of Kirakishou. I really like her for some reason. She only appear for three seconds in the final episode.

As for Suigintou, in the final episode, after Rozen repaired all of the dolls, he gently patted her around the waist, which could imply that he finally completed her.

The first three or four episodes were not as funny. It really picked up when they switched directors.

To-Love-Ru is kind of weird, and slightly pointless. It is mostly just fan-service.

I liked the original series it was based on much better. Black Cat.

Blade the TV show to me I'm going to have to say I'll have to stick with the manga because they completely changed Manji character. In the manga he more of meaner person in the anime he more of a good guy type character I like the meaner Manji in the manga. Why did they had to change his character.

I think they ditched the story and upped the fanservice on the 3rd season

That true season three is just a fan sever I didn't like the way how they being back Sousou at the end that part just made me say NO BUT YOU DIED. I guess it just shows that they may do season four but they should stop at three instead because it not going to be good any more if they go on. I kind of know what would happen if they do a season four because just play the game Dynasty Warriors it based on the Romances of the Three Kingdom. I maybe wrong they may go in a different direction with the series but what do I know.

The plot

The plot I found

I just watched the first episode of Clannad After Story.

Kotomi is so cute! In fact, everyone stayed in character with regard to the first season, and everyone had a role.

This is just my guess but looking at this poster i found it seems that the Resident Evil movie is coming out in Japan in 10/18 I could be wrong. The releases in the States I hear it premiere on November 13th at New York City Horror Film Festival.

I ran into this series just a while ago I looked in to it and it pretty interesting the name is Otoyomegatari. This from the creator of Emma (Kaoru MORI) what got my attention on this was the artwork it just makes me wander what culture are they it looks like culture of Nepal or something. Anyway here the story I got about the series. Set along the Silk Road that connected Asia with the Mediterranean world, including North Africa and Europe in the 16th century. The story of Amira, a woman skilled in archery and horsemanship, sent to marry Karluk, a boy from another village who is 8 years younger than her. But all is not well, as her village decides to take her back.
