I am a member in a few forums. I always notice Noobs making silly mistakes that hey could have avoided by reading the rules. Let's say, for conversations sake, all new member read the rules.

What are the other tips you would give new members to This forum?



*yes, I am tring to make my beginnings here as painless as possible ;)

Carefully look over the rules and make sure you COMPLETELY understand them. Hell recite them in your head if it helps. Also don't start linking to every site you think people should see. That might be acceptable on some forums but here permission needs to be asked before you start doing that. I've seen quite a few new people banned from here from those mistakes.

Oh and don't spam. That just pisses everyone off, me most of all. Hopefully these small things will help you out. If there are ever problems with some rule or something you don't completely understand don't hesitate to ask someone. Most people here all want to have a good time and wouldn't mind answering any questions you might have.

So keep those things in mind, and I hope you enjoy things here as much as I do.

noted. i guess I need an explaination about what is considered Spam. Would that someone posting links to site that someone earns money from, and is not related to this site. if so that would piss me off too.

Yes spam is like the junk mail you get at home or in your email...we do allow outside links as long as they are links of content....meaning they link to good and useful things....they can be for Movie clips for games for images......just be sure they go in the proper Forum.

Like techdragon said....everybody is very Helpful and friendly.....:)

good advice, I'm going to go read the rules now
