I recommend searching for the Kazaa Lite Codec Pack. It has windows player classic and such to play the avi plus every codec you might need to play a movie. Or you could get the vlc player that also plays everything, I think the website is videolan.com or something like that. If not just search google

hello windows media player should play the file if it doesn't you are missing a codec
if its anime the video codecs are normally divx and xvid
most movies they use divx becuase of the stability in anime they use Xvid for quality

maybe your download didn't finish you might need to finish to watch it ?
maybe what you download was renamed to avi
is it so crapy you can't see get VLC www.videolan.net
