I am really confused, i have been trying for atleast 2 hours to get this movie to play and i have downloaded numerous video players....could someone walk me through step by step how to install files needed to play .ogg movies three files were included in the download, [ass-h] Step Sister - Chapter 1[135D67B1], [ass-h] Step Sister - Chapter 2[0ABDA37B] those are both ogg files and then the last one is [ass-h] Step Sister - Chapter 1-2.SFV and that is an SFV file....thanks

I have the same download but my files are .ogm extenstion, you might want to try renaming them to that if nothing else works. Try installing Media Player Classic, that is the program I use and it plays them perfectly. You don't need any special codecs or anything, the reason for the strange extension is that the movie is encoded with english and japanese language capability. Use MPC and it should work, ogg or ogm

Sfv is just an archive file contianing the info for the files to be fixed if they become borken kinda a table of contents of an archive

Now to play .ogg file download the attachment on this thread its in zip format
and install both

The Zip Contains OggDS0995.exe and VobSub_2.23.exe
OggDS0995.exe once installed will allow you to play .ogg or .ogm files
now usually with most ogm or ogg files come with sub files or soft sub
so i suggest installing VobSub_2.23.exe along with oggDs0995.exe for best viewing results

i will also create a Codec Thread

Please let me know if this indeed works for you as it should drop a post

well, for one thing, dont use Media Player Classic.... search for a player called VLC media Player. when you find the official website for it, d/l it and it will come with all the nescessary codecs needed to play OGG and OGM files, as well as AVI, WMV, MPEG and a crap load of other incodeings

well all you do is download the zip attachment from this thread un zip and and double clcik on the one file and follow the screen prompts then do the other Vlc is not always the best Vlc is really only good for crappy encodes other players won't play
Best For Anime Is Media Player Classic i also made a codec thread at Lets Talk Codecs
